The minute I walked in I noticed how clean and orderly the restaurant was. This is in a fairly busy section of downtown. The space with bright and cheerful. The person behind the counter was very friendly and happy to offer assistance/recommendations. I had the patties and they were as good as anything I had in Jamaica. Highly recommend this place.

Got the stewed chicken ($18) and was really blown away with how tender the chicken was! Great flavor, a little heat but not unpleasantly spicy, and really got to showcase the chicken. Took me back to living in Central America. The rice and beans were really really well made too (with smaller black beans, definitely rice-forward but with the stew worked great). Plantain was fantastic. There was a little salad with raw peppers and onion on it that was just... warm lettuce with peppers. Without that, would have been perfect. Space is small but nice, and service was quick and friendly.

Okay, LOVE this place. Great selection, super affordable, great serving size, and worth a visit! The food was made right when I ordered it, so not only was it hot and fresh, it felt like a family friend cooked for me. One of THE BEST breakfast burritos I've ever had. Idk what is in their sauce but it's delicious! You gotta try it!

Sierra is super kind and welcoming! We love visiting Dreads Cafe for the jerk chicken pies and delicious coffees. The place is dog friendly, so feel free to bring your dog and sit outside on the patio in the shade.

Came in this morning for coffee and an early lunch. Holy cow...the oxtail here is delicious. My husband and I are foodies and we thoroughly enjoyed this. The service was also great. I came in 1.5 hrs earlier than when lunch is usually served but the owner got me hooked up in no time. I'm super appreciative. Will definitely be back!

Unless you know to go here, you will miss it. I found it by sheer coincidence as I was looking for a coffee place for morning coffee; something, somewhere other than a Starbuck's or Peet's. We had the breakfast croissant sandwich (which was absolutely delightful) and a cup of coffee. Everything is fresh. Next time I'm going for some of their fresh baked pastries including their macarons. Yelp check in gets you a cookie. And that cookie is dog gone GOOD

First time in, and I'm wanting to come back for sure. It's a small place so probably not the best choice for larger groups or those who want a louder environment, but it's a cute peaceful spot for those of us that prefer a more quiet environment especially to start our day. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating available! The prices are extremely fair for what they're charging for; their pastries and breads are made in house, and you can tell right away given how large the croissants, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and bagels are! The sandwiches are made fresh right there behind the counter, and they have a good selection of drinks to choose from. Frappés, hot and iced coffee drinks, boba, hot/iced teas... with a nice selection of flavors as well! The service was pretty standard; we came in right when they started to get busy, so I wasn't anticipating 100% from the staff per customer. I completely understand wanting efficiency for that line! But it was done with a smile and they did give a little extra conversation and service to regulars that they recognized, which is always a good sign. My boyfriend and I ordered a croissant sandwich with ham, bacon, egg, fresh tomato and cheese... And good god this thing was hefty!! Fresh and very very delicious, it wasn't dry at all and very flavorful. The food here is definitely worth getting!
